Job for my brother

Hey Guys, my brother is looking to work at a camp this summer (2007) and I know many of you have worked at excellent camps in the past (steve:). So, if any of you would like to suggest a camp for him to apply to, let me know.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night, exept for you Dena--it's probably day-time there.

From Lima En Route to SE Asia

Well, I was just looking back over past posts and realizing that is has been a very long time since I have updated on the blog. First of all I am coming to you from Lima, Peru. My sister works with street kids here with an organization called Word Made Flesh. My family will be spending Christmas here with here. (Side note: I'm so sad that I am missing your wedding Corrine! Much love to you and Jared). So I won't be in Iowa over this break at all.

I saw Claire over Thanksgiving Break. She drove down from Minneapolis to spend the weekend with my family and I which is always a great time. We thought of you all and of course remembered you all very fondly.

This semester has gone by so, so quickly. I can't believe it has been almost two years since we were leaving for our semester in Cairo. I took less class hours this semester and I am co-directoring an on-campus ministry (Acting on AIDS) which has been challenging, good, and time consuming. I am loving spending time with my apartmentmates and getting to know some new people. Pretty much we, as seniors, rule the entire place.

Also, Andrew and I are going to SE Asia on a missions/study abroad trip over J-term. We were talking about it the other day and suddenly realized that we hadn't told you all! So yeah, we're really excited. As you all are probably aware Indonesia is like 95% Muslim and we get to stay in homes for most of the time that we are there. The main thing we are doing is "cultural exchange" we will have traslators in the homes with us. It all sounds great from what we have been hearing. Not to mention the gorgeous paradise island destination. Anything I missed Andrew?

That's about it for now. I will let you know more about Lima and SE Asia later.

Love you all. Merry Christmas.

The Nasheds

I thought you would all enjoy a few more pictures of the beautiful family - the photos are from a baby shower we had for Carol (Diaa came too).

I know you all want a Canadian baby too... OK, maybe not, but she's Egyptian-American, so I had to get a little Canada in there as well.

Happy Advent!

while checking the blog and hoping for something i found nothing. all i wanted was some new content to read; but alas, my hopes were dashed. i understand though, i do not feel like i have anything to post about either - hence this short blurb about nothing.
